Focus Point Parking was created by parking industry professionals to provide the owners/managers of paid parking operations TRUE revenue control through real-time, 24/7 remote monitoring. Our model takes advantage of current parking revenue control system technologies that are all too often left dormant by operating companies throughout the industry. Many of these companies rely on hand-written point of sale reports as their source documents for revenue collection reporting, completely ignoring the redundant auditing tools and reports that are available in today’s revenue control systems. Throughout our industry experience, we have heard from parking managers that “the equipment doesn’t work.” We don’t believe that. The equipment does work – in the hands of those that know how to use it to its fullest capabilities. We maximize the equipment packages’ capabilities in order to tighten operations, reduce on-site labor costs, and minimize revenue slippage. Here’s how we work:
We manage parking facilities by using existing communication technologies such as Remote Desktop Protocol and Virtual Private Networks to securely connect to the on-site revenue control equipment. Once connected, our Command Center has the capability to monitor, manage, and control devices of any parking operation in world.
MONTHLY PARKING is managed online through our user-friendly website by following the appropriate links. Requests for setting up accounts, adding, or deleting parkers are all handled online. Payments via credit card or ACH can also be accepted. Access devices are shipped from our Command Center via certified overnight carrier.
TRANSIENT PARKING is managed through our 24/7 Command Center. Our Command Center Specialists are an intercom button away to assist with customer transactions in the lanes or at pay stations. All calls are logged for the purpose of trending statistical data and identifying potential issues.
VALIDATION PARKING is managed online and orders are shipped from our Command Center via certified overnight carrier.
REVENUE REPORTING packages are forwarded to our Clients every month for the previous month’s activity. We use revenue reporting programs that were created specifically for the parking industry as the basis for our revenue reporting.
Our leadership has over 40 years of executive and upper level management experience in the parking industry as well as over 25 years of accounting experience via our on-staff CPA.
